Palace Square in St. Petersburg in 3D

Untitled-2

World of Vizerra project repeats reality in great detail. We select for virtual travel the most interesting parts of the planet. Today, we added another exhibit to our collection of 3D squares. But before you would know exactly what square we offer to your attention, let us recall the squares which have been already recreated by us in the form of three-dimensional interactive models.

The very first in this series was the Old Town Square - the central square of Prague, a showcase project for the Czech office of our company.

Italy is represented with two squares. This is a large and very atmospheric location - St. Mark's Square in Venice - as well as St. Peter's Square, the center of the Vatican, a place where lies the border between the Vatican City State and Italy.

We’ve recently announced the release of 3D model of the central square of the German city of Bamberg adorned with a majestic cathedral.

And now we've made a new location on the virtual map of Russia, where the Red Square, the New Jerusalem Monastery, Grozny Central Dome Mosque and the Karel island of Kizhi already exist.

This is the Palace Square in St. Petersburg, the northern capital of Russia.

Walking along it, you'll see the main attractions of the square.

· Winter Palace is the former residence of Russian tsars, where today is the huge Hermitage museum. You will be able not only to admire its picturesque façade, but also walk the inner courtyard, hidden behind the gates.

· The General Staff building crowned with a majestic triumphal arch has the world's longest facade, almost half a kilometer long.

SPB_13

· Alexander's column is the tallest building in the world made from a single piece of granite that stands without attachment, by its own weight omly.

All other buildings and decorative elements are recreated with the same careful approach and fully convey the unique atmosphere of the main square of St. Petersburg.

Vizerra Team wishes you a pleasant stroll through the city of Peter the Great!
